Sophisticated vintage 1940's Trifari sterling silver earrings:

* Early 1940's Alfred Philippe design

* Fully marked and in fantastic shape

* Features open back and prong set rectangular or emerald cut faceted glass gems in a jewel toned topaz citrine shade

* Curving side accents with sparkly clear rhinestones

* I believe these were originally intended to be earrings - but you could sure give them a try on as shoe clips or clip on a chain to wear as a necklace or anywhere else you want a classy little accent

* Ready and waiting for your ears, collection, and/or gift giving - you will love these!

ESTIMATED AGE OR ERA = True original authentic antique / vintage pieces. Guessing earliest 1940's based on design and clip back style. Hollywood glam era

METAL AND/OR MATERIAL = Solid 925 sterling silver with faint remnants of a gold wash or gilding, faceted glass rhinestones

CLOSURE/CLASP = Clip on back hardware, also in sterling silver as seen on the finest and highest end 1940's Trifari treasures. Most anyone should be able to wear these - pierced ears or not

MARKS = STERLING stamped on the backs, on the bottom edges - and TRIFARI with a three pronged crown over the "T" - see pics

MEASUREMENTS = Aprox 5/8" long x 1/2" wide

US RING SIZE = x

WEIGHT = 9.6 grams together on my scale

CONDITION = Fantastic condition for the age - no damage or quirks found to mention. No chips, cracks, excessive wear to the glass jewels at all. In an excellent state of preservation
