Very old antique / vintage European coin silver bracelet:
* Early handmade artisan custom piece
* Articulated stations of three vertically stacked half orbs
* Wide custom forged box insert clasp
* Elusive mystery makers mark
* I am guessing this to be European in origin as the metal grade was very popular in the 19th century in Mainland Europe and not used in the United States at that time as far as I know. The age is also unknown to me due to the timeless design and lack of other clues
ESTIMATED AGE OR ERA = True antique - my best broad estimate is 1800's
METAL AND/OR MATERIAL = 800/1000 silver - also known as coin silver
CLOSURE/CLASP = Well hidden or integrated into the design box insert clasp and additional safety catch
MARKS = 800 stamped on the inserted portion of the clasp - also a makers mark or hallmark that consists of a circle with three arrows, "V's" or chevron shapes - see pic
MEASUREMENTS = Bracelet has a wearable length of 7 1/4" long (not counting the clasp that gets tucked in) - 18 mm or just under 3/4" wide
US RING SIZE = N/A
WEIGHT = 36.7 grams on my scale
CONDITION = Overall great vintage condition - no damage to mention. Hardware all works well and convex balls are amazingly dent-free
View & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina, and/or wear. Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged. I will do my best to note anything glaring or distracting. Please utilize the scroll arrows beside the photos to allow yourself the opportunity to view them all. Pictures normally speak louder than words and individuals also interpret characteristics differently.
