Very Cool Recycled Coca Cola / Coke Glass Bottle Hoop Earrings - Sterling Silver Findings - Studio Pieces by Kathleen Plate Atlanta GA

Neat new old stock recycled Coke bottle glass hoop earrings:

- In unworn condition on original informative display card

- Handcrafted by artist Kathleen Plate in Atlanta Georgia under the name "Smart Glass, Inc"

- These were a part of Coca Cola's Connect the Planet program that offered recycled and repurposed products from artisans focused on contributing to the health of our planets

- Has the most beautiful light aqua blue green color with a wavy texture - the glass was individually selected and cut insuring that each piece is an original work of art

- All findings are sterling silver, per the card

- Ready and waiting for your ears, collection, and/or gift giving


ESTIMATED AGE OR ERA = True original authentic vintage piece. I am estimating that this is early 2000's in age - the card has a date of 2006

METAL AND/OR MATERIAL = 925 grade or sterling silver and recycled coke bottle glass hoops

CLOSURE/CLASP = French wire or fish hook backs for pierced ears

MARKS = None that I could find on the actual earrings - all information taken directly from the card

MEASUREMENTS = The recycled glass hoops are about 1" in diameter each - total length from the top arch of the hook to the very bottom of the glass hoop is aprox 1 3/4" - including the secondary sterling silver loop

US RING SIZE = X

WEIGHT = Both earrings off the card are 5.6 grams on my scale

CONDITION = Great condition for the age - no damage or quirks to mention. The earrings are in new, unworn condition. The paperboard display card does show it's age from hanging around all of these years - there are minor mars, wear, discoloration, etc - see pics.

Please view & enlarge all photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina, and/or wear. Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged. I will do my best to note anything glaring or distracting. Utilize the scroll arrows beside the photos to allow yourself the opportunity to view them all. Pictures normally speak louder than words and individuals also interpret characteristics differently.
