Mysterious Sleek Modernist Antique / Vintage Leopard Agate Ring with Yellow Gold Bezel and Sterling SIlver Band - Artisan Piece - sz 6

One of a kind antique / vintage agate ring:

~ Fantastic marquise shaped agate stone cabochon centerpiece

~ Bezel set in a solid yellow gold setting

~ Rare dendritic agate with formations that resemble leopard spots

~ Sterling silver band for that mixed metal / matches most everything versatile look

~ I suspect that the agate and gold setting had a former life as a lapel pin or pendant due to the singular area on the back side that looks to have had a loop or other hardware attached at one time. Someone has made it into this unique one of a kind ring

~ Sleek minimalistic lines

~ Ready and waiting for your finger, collection, and/or gift giving

ESTIMATED AGE OR ERA = True antique / piece - my best guess is that the gold and agate centerpiece is originally 1900 - 1930 in age and it may have been turned into a ring circa 1950's / 1960's due to the minimalist / modernist look

METAL AND/OR MATERIAL = Solid gold bezel setting around agate and sterling silver band

CLOSURE/CLASP = x

MARKS = None that I could find

MEASUREMENTS = Face or front / stone in setting is about 1" long x 1 cm wide, band is 4 mm wide

US RING SIZE = 6.0

WEIGHT = 5.5 grams on my scale

CONDITION = Great vintage condition - no quirks or damage to mention
