1940's Vintage Swedish Scandinavian Mid Century Monogrammed NN Cufflinks by Victor Janson circa 1947 - Fully Hallmarked & Fabulous

Vintage mid century Swedish sterling silver cufflinks:

~ Hand made masterpieces by Victor Janson

~ Double "N" script initials on the front

~ Fancy scrolling engraved border

~ Complimentary curving knot design on the pivot backs

~ Oval shape

~ Hallmarks date these to circa 1947

AGE OR ERA: Scandinavian - mid century in era - marks date them to 1947

MARKINGS: Hallmarks include

1. VJ for Victor Janson

2. Swedish date mark V8 = 1947

3. National control mark of Sweden - three crowns with a coat of arms in a trefoil shape, accompanied by a six sided / hexagon shape with an "S" in it, indicating a minimum grade of 800 silver. These have been tested and I was told they are 925 sterling grade silver

4. Town mark in a sideways tear drop enclosing markings that are very hard to make out. I believe it may be be a cursive "L" - which would denote Lindesberg

METAL / MATERIAL: Minimun 800 grade silver - I was told that these had been tested and are 925 sterling silver grade

CLASP / CLOSURE: Fixed arms with pivot backs

MEASUREMENTS: Faces are oval in shape and measure about 5/8" x 3/4"

WEIGHT: 7.8 grams together on my scale

TESTING: I haven't tested them personally

INVENTORY NUMBER OR NOTE: x

CONDITION = Great vintage condition - no damage found to mention. Some lovely patina that only time can produce
