AGE OR ERA: Original true antique / vintage piece - I am only guessing Victorian or 1800's in era. With a lack of marks and timeless styling it is hard say for certain
MARKINGS: None that I could find
METAL / MATERIAL: Goldstone art glass jewel - also known as Aventurine Glass and the metal or mount tests to be 14k solid gold (via a non-invasive, non-marring, non-damaging undetectable method, of course)
CLASP / CLOSURE: x
MEASUREMENTS: Round goldstone piece is aprox 7/8" in diameter (or over 23 mm), ring sets up off the finger a full showy 1/2", and band tapers to 3.5 mm in the very back
WEIGHT: 14.1 grams on my scale
TESTING: Tests to be solid 14k yellow gold
U.S. RING SIZE: 6.75
INVENTORY NUMBER OR NOTE: x
CONDITION = Fantastic vintage condition - especially given the age and rarity. There is no damage that I could find to mention. There is a small hole, hiding close to a prong that can be see from the side. I just found one hole - so it is a bit of a mystery to me why it may be there. See last photo. Was this another type of bauble in a former life, is it just part of the construction process of the goldstone gem, is there another hole completely hidden under another prong, or ??? Your guess is as good as mine on this one. It is really rather neither here nor there, just mentioned for accuracy, and adds to the uniqueness and conversation quality of this exquisite ring - in my opinion. No cracks, chips, fractures, scrapes, chips, etc to the goldstone at all. It is in an excellent state of preservation all around.

Please view & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina and/or wear. Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged and not mentioned. Individuals do have varying levels of desire and tolerance for "vintage charm" so do utilize the scroll arrows beside the photos to allow yourself the opportunity to view them all, as they are an integral part and extension of the description.
