Vintage Lea Stein "Marcelle" Pin Brooch - Rare Designer Piece - Made in Pari France - Original Gold Foil Sticker Tag - Unique Neutral Colors

Vintage handmade "Marcelle" pin brooch from French designer and artist Lea Stein :

~ This iconic example has an unmistakeable Art Deco Flapper look
~ This line highlights and celebrates the female facial profile was produced from circa 1968 to 1980
~ Made with a unique original technique created by her and unique to her pieces
~ The composition and process was created by herself and her chemist husband and was fashioned into jewelry early as the 1950's. It involves thin sheets of layered laminated rhodoid, a thermoplastic derived from cellulose acetate
~ It is first built up, then cut and shaped or "fashioned" into these fabulous pieces in an elaborate technique that can take up to 6 months to complete
~ Each piece is handmade and no two are ever exactly alike
~ This one exhibits rare life like realistic coloring - which is a bit out of the norm for her pieces, which tend to be bolder, wilder, and more colorful, in my opinion
~ It is unusual to find the original gold foil sticker that reads "Made in FRANCE" to be intact on the backside yet, as this example displays
