Victorian Necklace and Earring Set - Brass and Mixed Metals - Diamond Shaped Picture Frames with Screw Joint Detailing and Foliage / Leaves

Antique Victorian necklace and screw on earring set:

~ Necklace looks to be brass or brass toned in the very least
~ Features diamond shaped designs reminiscent of picture frames of the time with screw details on the joints
~ Surrounded by foliage or leaf details
~ Smooth fancy patterned snake feeling chain on the necklace
~ Earrings depict the same diamond shaped frames and foliage - but are a lighter, more silvery color
~ Not sure if it is a later addition, a married or made non-original set, or just meant to contrast a bit for interest

AGE OR ERA: Original true authentic antique / vintage pieces - guessing late 1800's to early 1900's in age - Victorian in era

MARKINGS: None that I could find

METAL / MATERIAL: Necklace appears to be brass or brass toned, and earrings have a more silver toned base metal with some gold toned gilding or highlights

CLASP / CLOSURE: Necklace has a fold over clasp and earrings are screw on backs so most anyone should be able to wear them - pierced ears or not

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace measures 15 3/4" long - not including the drop portion that adds another 1 1/4" of visual length when wearing. The earrings are aprox 2" long x 7/8" wide. The frames on the necklace are also a matching size of 7/8" wide x 1 1/4" long

CONDITION = Good vintage condition - no damage to mention and hardware all in good working and holding order. The only quirk would be the color toned difference between the two pieces outlined above. But again, it very well may have been meant to be so. In an excellent state of preservation all around
