Antique Victorian clamp on watch fob:

~ Patented clamp on top has the neatest little lever that is still in fantastic working order

~ The body has an eye-catching unique gate link type chain

~ The lower part of the fob dangle features what looks like a lyre or antique music stand shape - with some very light hand chasing to highlight the details if you look very closely

~ Finished off with a hand engraved script monogram of A.W. on the very bottom of the fob

AGE OR ERA: True antique / vintage piece - broadly guessing late 1800's to early 1900's in age - Victorian era

MARKINGS: Clamp clip says PAT'D and the monogram described above

METAL / MATERIAL: Looks to be gold plated or filled with the plating or finish remaining nicely intact

CLASP / CLOSURE: Unique patented clamp on clasp - you pull the little lever up to open up the area to insert the material you want to clip this on to - then push the lever back down to secure

MEASUREMENTS: About 3 1/2" long x 5/8" wide at the widest point near the middle of the chain work
