Interesting vintage / antique miniature violin with fitted carrying case:

~ Complete with case, bow, and little tool that was in the compartment

ESTIMATED AGE OR ERA = True antique / vintage piece - due to lack of marks and timeless theme it is hard to say for certain

METAL AND/OR MATERIAL = Mixed - violin is wood, case is red velvet lined and looks to have a tape type material material covered exterior

CLOSURE/CLASP = Two flip closures

MARKS = None that I could find

MEASUREMENTS = Case measures 11 1/2" long x 3 1/2" wide - instrument is aprox 9" long x 3" wide

INVENTORY NUMBER = x

CONDITION = Acceptable vintage condition - given the age and rarity. The instrument itself and accessories look to be in great shape - the carrying case closes fine but doesn't latch well. The latches do insert where they are supposed to - but fail to secure when you flip up the hasps. I am sure it is an easy fix and just needs some tweaking or similar. In an excellent state of preservation overall.
