AGE OR ERA: True antique / vintage piece - estimating late 1800's to early 1900's in era

METAL / MATERIAL: Looks to be brass or brass toned metal with some remnants of a gold wash or gilding that now highlights the designs perfectly

CONDITION: Great vintage condition - no damage or quirks to mention at all. The mirror has the lightest negligible mars - but in far superior shape than most. So light, random, and faint I couldn't capture any very well in the photos. I have not cleaned or polishes this at all - there is some build up, patina and darkening here and there. I will leave that to the proud new owner should you feel the need. In an excellent state of preservation.

Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged and not mentioned.
