~ Gently curving and oval in shape
~ The crest displays the finest details and expert enamel work
~ Striking white background with accent colors in red, blue, and yellow
~ Substantial and well made with barrel type hinge and early simple c catch
~ Your chance to own a rare vintage souvenir from old world Hawaii

Ready and waiting for your lapel, collection, or gift giving - you will love this!

AGE OR ERA: Authentic true vintage piece - guessing late 1800's to early 1900's - Victorian to Edwardian in era

MARKINGS: Sterling and a cipher form makers mark with that looks to be a D and W intertwined or superimposed. See pic - I can't find any information at all on it and it is getting the best of me! Possibly a Dawkins Benny mark who bought out H Culman or HF Wichman who was also known to product high quality enameled Hawaiian jewelry. If you have any information on the mark - I would love to learn about it

METAL / MATERIAL: Solid 925 / 1000 Sterling grade silver - slight gold gilding or finish remains that has worn to create a soft glow and colorful enamel work

CLASP / CLOSURE: Old fashioned simple "C" catch

    MEASUREMENTS: Aprox 2" x 1 1/4"

WEIGHT: 18.1 grams on my scale

    TESTING: x

    U.S. RING SIZE: x

    INVENTORY NUMBER OR NOTE: x

CONDITION = Good vintage condition - given the age and rarity. There is a small area of enamel irregularity - I can't say for certain in it is loss due to chipping or a skip or void original to the pin in the lower right corner of the crest. It presents or blends well either way. See last photo. All hardware in working and holding order. In an excellent state of preservation

Please view & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina and/or wear. Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged and not mentioned. Especially if obvious and/or prominent in the photos. Individuals do have varying levels of desire and tolerance for "vintage charm" so do utilize the scroll arrows beside the photos to allow yourself the opportunity to view them all, as they are an integral part and extension of the description.
