Very special vintage handmade brooch:
~ Created by artisan Lucinda Yates from Portland, Maine - famous for her more well know "House Pins" by Lucinda line - this one is a member of "People Pins" by Lucinda line
~ Her motto is "Changing the World one Pin at a Time" - and I believe she has accomplished what she has set out to do
~ I love her work and can't say enough about the powerful messages she creates. Originally these were created to benefit charity and also to provide beautiful, affordable, high quality, giftable, wearable pieces of art. They are all of that and so much more. I am in shock and awe that pieces of paper can come together to speak so loudly and evoke such thought and emotion
~ Colorful bits of heavy paper cut outs are stacked, layered and arranged to create this lovely scene with that features three people - two adults and a child .. I am guessing a family, and a large heart with a flower in the middle
~ This one is asymmetrical geometric in shape with and has a color scheme of peach, off white or beige, blush pink, and a very unique tawny brown mauve - ish background
~ Perfect jewelry piece or gift for Valentine's Day, the hopeless romantic, sentimental, family of three, social worker, counselor, psychiatrist, etc
Ready and waiting for your lapel, wardrobe, collection, or gift giving - you will love this!

Please view & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina and/or wear. Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged and not mentioned. Individuals do have varying levels of desire and tolerance for "vintage charm" so do utilize the scroll arrows beside the photos to allow yourself the opportunity to view them all, as they are an integral part and extension of the description.
