AGE OR ERA: Authentic true antique vintage jewelry piece - estimating 1920's in age

MARKINGS: No marks that I could find

METAL / MATERIAL: 14k white gold with real diamond and sapphire jewel. The sapphire strongly tests to be a "sapphire" - it is not a glass gem or rhinestone at all. But, there is the possibility that it is a created or simulated stone as those can test to be genuine also as they naturally have similar composition. This was also made in an era when man made faux jewels had just been perfected and were all of the rage. They were highly sought after / very desirable due to their flawlessness and intense color saturations at that time.

    CLASP / CLOSURE: x

MEASUREMENTS: Aprox 2 9/16" long (or 66 mm) and the decorative feature is about 10 mm x 15 mm. This very may be a French - or European piece due to the metric sizing. The diamond is roughly 2.3 mm in diameter and the sapphire 3 mm x 3 mm

WEIGHT: 1.4 grams on my scale

TESTING: All metal parts tested to be solid 14k white gold (the head and the stick pin portion both), the diamond tests to be real or genuine, and the blue stone tests to be a sapphire (but please see notes above). All tested using accurate, non-marring, non-invasive methods of course

    U.S. RING SIZE: x

    INVENTORY NUMBER OR NOTE: x

CONDITION = Great vintage condition given the age and antique Art Deco aesthetic value. The diamond exhibits a small chip at about 11:00 - so minor it was impossible for me to capture in photos and only visible to me under 10x magnification. It also follows a facet line so that helps it blend in. There is a small break in the gallery work (see last pic) and stick pin has some waviness from all these years of use. All should be undetectable when wearing the pin and does not affect the operation or stability of anything. The sapphire is free from flaws. In an excellent state of preservation

"A picture is worth a thousand words"

Please view & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina and/or wear. Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged and not mentioned. Especially if obvious and/or prominent in the photos. Individuals do have varying levels of desire and tolerance for "vintage charm" so do utilize the scroll arrows beside the photos to allow yourself the opportunity to view them all, as they are an integral part and extension of the description.
