AGE OR ERA: True authentic vintage piece - estimating 1950's in age

MARKINGS: MADE IN FINLAND STERLING - the box has some manufacturer's marks outlined below. There are also stickers on the bottom that read 4/56 and $19.50 - which are the original price and very well may be the date of the pin an, if not, the inventory code perhaps

METAL / MATERIAL: 925 / 1000 grade sterling silver - the box has a blue velvety lining, white bottom and clear view lid and is marked Toiljalan Kotelotehdas - which I believe is only the brand or company who made the display box

CLASP / CLOSURE: European style trombone clasp that compliments the piece perfectly

MEASUREMENTS: Measures about 2 3/8" long x 1 1/8" wide

WEIGHT: 8.9 grams on my scale

CONDITION = Great vintage condition - no damage or quirks that I could find to mention. I have not cleaned or polished this at all. The box does show it's age - the clear has gotten cloudy and there are several cracks, etc - just included for provenance and protection. The brooch is in such good shape - I can't even say for certain if it was ever worn or used. In an excellent state of preservation
