Antique Kanzashi hair stick / hairpin:

~ Features a decorative large flat embellished disk
~ Depicts three Geisha girls, complete with kimonos and fans surrounded by cherry blossoms

~ I believe this was originally intended to be a hair ornament - but you sure could use it as a hat pin as well

AGE OR ERA: Authentic true antique / vintage piece. I am estimating late 1800's to early 1900's in age. But I am not an expert what-so-ever in Asian antiques, so your guess or impression may be better than mine in this case. It is an old, original, authentic accessory for sure.

MARKINGS: None that I could find

METAL / MATERIAL: All metal construction - and appears to be brass or bronze or brass or bronze toned anyway

CLASP / CLOSURE: x

MEASUREMENTS: Just shy of 8" long and the disk has a diameter of 1 1/2"

WEIGHT: Fairly lightweight - very intentionally made that way for comfort of the wearer, I assume

CONDITION = Great vintage condition - no damage or quirks found to mention. Fantastic old patina and coloration that only time and wear can provide. In an excellent state of preservation
