AGE OR ERA: Original true authentic vintage pieces - estimating 1930's to 1940's in age

MARKINGS: The pin has an applied plaque that has a partial / faint STERLING mark, the bracelet says Coro STERLING, and the earrings say STERLING on both screw back harps. The box these came in reads SHAH & SHAH 921 F ST NW WASHINGTON, D.C. - with a graphic logo that includes a lion rampant and a gryphon like creature holding a crest that has a sparkling diamond in the center - wording reads DIAMONDS JEWELERS. This address dates to at least the prohibition era / 1929. This was their earliest address and became an institution over their 50 years there. They are still in business today and are famously private and bespoke.

METAL / MATERIAL: All pieces in this set are solid 925 sterling silver - the box is paperboard with a lower satin covered display pad

ANECDOTAL AND/OR METAPHYSICAL: Some believe when sterling silver contacts your skin it can improve your body heat, mood, help with your circulation. It also has historical use as a healing aid, helping to fight infection and viruses. Silver also through to help to calm the mind and alleviate anxiety and anger.

CLASP / CLOSURE: Brooch has a modern safely catch, bracelet a nice size spring ring clasp and the earrings have screw on backs to allow most anyone to wear them - pierced ears or not.

MEASUREMENTS: Pin 4 3/4" x 2 3/4", bracelet 7" long x 3/4" wide, earrings 1 " x 5/8". Box 6" x 4.25" x 1

WEIGHT: 48 grams all together on my scale. Pin = 23.6, Bracelet = 18.2 and er = 6.2

CONDITION = Great vintage pre-loved condition. No damage or quirks to the jewelry that I could find to note. This may be a married set - or may not have originally been a set as there are minor differences to shape and form as well as the markings - I have no way of knowing for sure. All pieces have the fantastic deep patina that only time and use can provide - which tells me they have been together for a very long time, perhaps even being grouped by the original jeweler. The box does show it's age - some mars, discoloration, etc but functions well. All hardware is in good working order on the jewelry pieces. In an excellent state of preservation.

Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged and not mentioned.
