AGE OR ERA: Original true authentic vintage piece - estimating 1970's to 1990's in age. Modern vintage in era

MARKINGS: His Lotton signature is etched in the bottom of the pendant on the flat pontil and the chain is marked 14k in two places and was also tested to be true

METAL / MATERIAL: Art glass and solid 14k yellow gold

ANECDOTAL AND/OR METAPHYSICAL: Some believe glass represents and carries the energies of transformation, merging of elements, rebirth, focus and communication. Gold is believed to be an energy amplifier. When worn against body, it is said to be helpful for treating blood, skin, and heart conditions. It is also believed to prevent spiritual corrosion, fatigue, and negativity, relieve tension, anger, and feelings of inferiority.

Yellow gold in particular harnesses the warmth of the sun and it promotes self-awareness and the realization dreams.

CLASP / CLOSURE: Lobster claw clasp on the chain

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is aprox 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" and the chain is 24" long and 2 mm wide

WEIGHT: Gold necklace chain is a substantial 9.6 grams and the pendant alone is 44.9 grams on my scale

TESTING: Gold chain was tested (with a non-invasive, non-marring method of course) to confirm the 14k markings and found to be as such

CONDITION = Great vintage pre-loved condition. I couldn't find any quirks or damage to note on the chain and the art glass love knot pendant is splendid. Pendant is all original and no actual damage - just some quirks to note. Towards the bottom end of of the pendant - around the flat pontil there are some very tiny chips which are natural result of forming / breaking off the product during the hand blowing process. Also some small internal cracks and seams can be spotted from the outside when examining closely and actively looking for flaws towards the base or bottom end. These is also original to the pendant and most likely from the forming, twisting, and joining. See last photo(s). In an excellent state of preservation.

Please view & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina and/or wear. Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged and not mentioned.
