Rare hand made whimsical floral artsy glass corsage brooch:
~ I believe this is similar to the Pretty Babies line by glass master Sara Sally LaGrand - famous for her lampwork beads, among many other accomplishments in glass
~ I have been told that this was made by a student of hers and was donated for a museum fundraiser
~ A study in juxtaposition of color, texture and dimension
~ Each and every little component is a treasure in it's own right - they have been very intentionally and masterfully chosen, arranged, nestled, and stacked to make an unforgettable and wearable work of art
~ Elements include - whimsical stylized flower shapes, imbedded dots swirls & stripes, applied dots, opaque transparent and swirled glass, scallops, ruffles, cups, orbs, marble like balls, smooth and patterned leaves ..... the longer I look - the more I notice
Ready and waiting for your special day, outfit, display, collection or gift giving - you will love this!
