~ I believe just one side opens on this particular tin - the red lid easily comes on and off. I have seen others similar where both sides open. (Although it is possible the white side may be just firmly wedged or stuck)

CONDITION: In acceptable vintage or pre-loved condition - perfectly imperfect for that unmistakeable vintage look. There is wear, discoloration, dents, scratches, imperfections, etc - but remains beautiful and functional. I have not cleaned this in at all - a little paste wax may do wonders, if you feel inclined. Time worn finish only use and use can provide - but has lots of life left in it. In an excellent state of preservation.
