Vintage Mink Ermine Fur Coat - Chocolate Brown Mink or Ermine Flips / Reverses to Curly Persian Lamb - Fantastic Condition - MUST LOOK!

Wildly unusual and rare reversible vintage fur coat:

*Both sides are composed of very thin strips of fur - one is mink or possibly ermine pelts and the reverse is curly or Persian lamb.

*There are suede or full hide strips in between the fur sections to create a great striped pattern

*So creative and labor intensive

*There is a striking edging border or frame of curly lamb on both sides of this jacket - on the collar, cuffs and bottom hem. At the cuffs it measures 2 1/2" wide

*Three frog type hook and loop closures on each side

*There aren't any labels, pockets, or tags

*Versatile collar can be worn flipped up in a mandarin style or laid down on with either fur facing out- I have pictured it both ways

*There aren't any tags indicating the size - please use measurements for sizing


Measurements (all taken hanging and across the front only) :
Shoulder to shoulder = 17"
Shoulder round to end of arm opening = 22"
Bust or underarm to underarm = 19"
Shoulder to bottom hem or length = 25"
Cuff or turn back width = The curly lamb decorative border is 2 1/2" wide

*This is a must have for the lover of antique or vintage furs - one to wear and/or add to the collection
Wonderful condition for the age and rarity really - just some random small thin vertical holes or gaps close to or on seams that are mainly just visible to me when held to the light and actively looking for flaws. I have highlighted the largest one - it is up by a shoulder and right along a seam. Should be an easy fix if you felt the need. There are several other thin spots along seams that I would describe closer to long or skipped stitches or perhaps very small areas of separation. The largest that I have pictured backed by my finger is about an inch long and there is another seam separation of the same size.
