Amazing Rare Antique Baroque Rococo 1600 - 1800 European Solid 14k Gold Cut Glass or Rock Crystal Large Cuff Sleeve Stud Button Cuff Links

Very old antique cuff-button or sleeve button cufflinks:

*These have a large hand cut glass or rock crystal centerpiece - each with 6 large side facets and one on the top of the gem to equal 7

*Framed with a delicate intertwined or laced 14k gold border

*The reverse of these also has hand forged hardware - a double stabilizing stay and button through cuff piece

*I am guessing that these rare gems may age anywhere from the 1600's to the early 1800's based on construction methods, materials and presentation. Very regal and have elements of Baroque Rococo Regency periods alike

*There aren't any marks that I could find - they test strongly positive to be at least 14k gold

*They together weight 12.0 grams and are about an inch across in diameter

*Very fine condition for the age - no damage to mention. There are ever so slight variances or differences in the hand cut facet size on the fronts and slight angle and height of the hardware on the back. I think it just adds to the antique charm and reinforces the age estimate in this case. View & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina, and/or wear - as most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both.
