Wildly unique mid century mod ring with flashy alexandrite stone:

*Undoubtedly a custom made piece

*Eye catching twisted gold members make up this special custom fit basket setting that ends up creating a bezel set frame

*Firey flashy lab created or synthetic color change flame fashion alexandrite or color change sapphire stone that measures 22 mm in diameter

*Bold color changes in different lighting conditions with flashes of hot pink or fuchsia, to a cool iolite colored blue purple / blueish silberian amethyst shades - created perfection achieved

*I am guessing this to be circa 1960's

*HUGE BIG stone is fancy cut with many facets - you can see a star or flower pattern when the light reflects just right

*Marked 14k on the inside of the band

*A sizable 7.25 or 7 1/4 and it weights 15 grams on my scale

*The band starts out as a double upper shank and comes together to form a wide single lower shank that measures 4 mm in the back

*The stone itself measures about 22 mm in diameter and with the setting included the top measures about 15/16" across. It is 1/2" tall or high. This ring is not for the faint of heart or wallflower.....it is a GIGANTIC showy statement piece that will get noticed.

*Great vintage condition - no damage or quirks to mention.
