Patricia Smith "Moon Bag" circa 1984 - Silver Metallic Leather Body with Decorative Changeable Face Plate - Black with Antique Gold Lace

Highly collectible 1980's Patricia Smith "Moon Bag":

~ Silver metallic leather body

~ Large interchangeable decorated face plaque is held in place with hook and loop strip and was designed to be able to be swapped out easily

~ This one features a black background with antique gold lace pattern - studded with sparkly topaz and clear flat back jewels

~ Purse opening has a super secure hinged snap stay that easily manually pulls open and pops closed

~ Open pouch interior - no sidewall pocket(s) - taupe color, grosgrain type material

~ Skinny long classic 1980's strap - easy to adjust by knotting if you desire. It had a knot in it for the photos, I removed it to get an accurate measurement

~ Obviously has been cherished due to superb condition

~ Ready and waiting for your wardrobe or collection - you will love it!

*Measurements = Bag body is 7" high x 9" wide. Handle arch is 22 1/2" long (unknotted) - handle is 1/4" wide

*Marks = Original sticker on the underside of the face plaque reads - MOON BAGS INC / USA Hand Painted Designs Milwaukee, Wisconsin (copyright c in a circle) 1984 Patricia Smith, sewn in black interior tag has her logo and says MOONBAGS Patricia Smith Designs Milwaukee

*CONDITION = Great condition for the age - two very minor leather flaws near the bottom / front - see last pic. They very well may be quirks of the leather or finishing - I have not tried to touch these up at all. See last photo. View & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina, and/or wear. Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged. I will do my best to note anything glaring or distracting.
