Whiting & and Davis Co Hematite Earrings - Large Concave Oval Gems with Fancy Prongs, Faceted Edges - Silver Toned Setting - Clip on Backs

Showy old vintage signed Whiting and Davis Company clip on earrings:

~ Large oval hematite concave gems

~ Light catching facets all around the edges

~ Fancy crown like prongs

~ Bow tie logos on the clip backs

~ Patent date on the inside of the clip dates to 1874 - although I am fairly positive that the earrings aren't quite that old. Research shows that this Whiting and Davis mark was used as early as 1926 though - the earrings sure could date from that time period. They are very art deco looking.

~ Nice big size at over an inch long - aprox 1 1/8" x 7/8"

~ Rope border around the very outside

~ Classy timeless earrings all the way around.

~ Ready and waiting for your ears or collection

Condition: Good vintage condition - no damage or quirks to mention
