Very special vintage handmade "HOUSE PINS" brooch:
~ Created by artisan Lucinda Yates from Portland, Maine
~ Her motto is "Changing the World one Pin at a Time" - and I believe she has accomplished what she has set out to do and more
~ I love her work and can't say enough about the powerful messages she creates. Originally these were created to benefit charity and also to provide beautiful, affordable, high quality, wearable, giftable pieces of art. They are all of that and so much more. I am in shock and awe that pieces of paper can come together to speak so loudly and evoke such emotion
~ These have become very collectible
~ Totally adorable, artsy, giftable, and very wearable
~ This one features a trio of houses with aqua or turquoise colored windows against a mauve speckled sky and a single large navy blue single star
Ready and waiting for your lapel, wardrobe, collection, or gift giving - you will love this!

METAL / MATERIAL: Heavy paper with a thick resin or acrylic type coating to protect and preserve the work

View & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina, and/or wear. Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged. I will do my best to note anything glaring or distracting. Please utilize the scroll arrows beside the photos to allow yourself the opportunity to view them all.
