Rare Crown Trifari Necklace - Rigid Dog Collar Slip on Neck Cuff - Rich Gold Toned - Machined Metal Moire Design - Egyptian Revival MCM Mod

RARE vintage mid century modern Trifari collar or cuff necklace:

~ Dog collar type slip on design

~ Fabulous shimmering light reflecting moire fabric pattern machined in the metal

~ Bright rich elegant gold toned metal

~ I couldn't find any similar examples - I have a feeling this is a rare necklace

~ Elements of both art deco egyptian revival pieces of theirs and mid century mod designs - so it makes it difficult to speculate on the exact era - true vintage for certain

~ Unique timeless classy high piece

Marks = TRIFARI with a crown over the T marked on the inside of both end finials. No copyright c or patent marks at all that I could find, which is unusual

Measurements = 1" wide - round in shape when viewing from the top and measures aprox 4" x 4" - unflexed. There is give to the piece to allow you to slip it on. I would guess it is for an average to petite sized neck

CONDITION: Great vintage condition - no damage to mention. When viewing the left side from a certain angle there is a slightly darker spot in the finish - very insignificant. Fingerprint shaped - so it very well may clean up, should you desire. I have not cleaned this at all. See last pic.
