Very old antique Georgian / Victorian round collar pin brooch:
~ Features a single large bezel set round faceted citrine colored jewel - I am assuming it is glass
~ Elaborate swirling detailed frame
~ Metal appears to have a gold gilt or wash - it has a matte finish and is entirely non-magnetic, very well could be sterling silver or similar base, but without a mark I can't say for certain and I don't want to scratch up this fine piece to check
Ready and waiting for your lapel, collection, or gift giving - You will love it!
MARKINGS: None that I could find
HARDWARE: Old world elevated on a handmade platform simple c catch
MEASUREMENTS: Jewel is aprox 20mm in diameter - pin is round in general overall shape and is about 1 1/4" across in it's entirety
CONDITION: Great vintage condition - no actual damage or to mention. No chips, cracks, or damage to the gem at all. The pin back is a bit wavy and you have to manually maneuver it in and out of it's cradle - but works and holds fine
View & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina and/or wear. Most older pieces by nature will normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged. I will try my best to note anything glaring or distracting. Do utilize the scroll arrows beside the photos to allow yourself the opportunity to view them all, as they are an integral part of the description.
