Orange Jade Antique / Vintage Chinese Gold Silver Clip Earrings w Glowing Ice Orange Nephrite Oval Cabochon Jewels & Original Silk Box

Exotic jeweled antique earrings:

~ High end Chinese export pieces and date to the late 1800's or early 1900's

~ They are hand made from silver of unmarked grade with a gold plating so thick and fine that they test to be solid 14k gold - although I question that and am listing them as silver due to the "SILVER" mark on the earring clips

~ Feature three stacked east west set glowing glassy orange cabochon gemstones

~ The gems test to be nephrite. Fine grade with a warm internal glow

~ Curved profile

~ Very fine gauged applied designs include twisted rope borders and Etruscan style balls

~ Clip on backs so most anyone should be able to wear these - pierced ears or not

~ Comes in the original box that is topped with a classic oriental or asian pattern - feels like it could be silk on the outside and has the look of grosgrain satin on the off white inside. It has some old hand written numbers on the bottom. Very minor wear and discoloration on the box only and earring are in great vintage condition with no damage or quirks to mention. Rich original old patina. A rare find in an excellent state of preservation

*MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are each aprox 13/16" long x 7/16" wide (width is including the little ball decorations protruding) - orange cabochons are about 7 x 5 mm each

*MARKS: SILVER stamped on the insides of the clip back hardware

*WEIGHT: Earrings together weigh 8.7 grams on my scale - not including the box

*CONDITION: Great vintage condition - no quirks or damage to mention concerning the earrings at all. The stones are all intact and completely free from chips, crazing, wear, cracks, nicks, etc. and clip backs in good working order. The box has some negligible wear, discoloration, etc one would expect of a box over 100 years old. Nothing glaring or out of the ordinary
