Vintage Single Dress Clip - Deep Carved Leaf Pattern - Carnelian Colored Bakelite Dress Clip - So Versatile - Clip to Necklace or Bracelet

Carved bakelite single dress clip:

~ Deep carved stylized leaf or foliage design

~ Glowing translucent carnelian color

~ Brass or brass toned clip back hardware with Art Deco geometric pattern

~ I am guessing this to be 1930's in age

~ Dress clips are actually one of the most very versatile pieces of jewelry in my opinion - they can be clipped to the neckline on your blouse or dress - but also on a purse, pocket, necklace, bracelet - you name it ..... only limited by your imagination

*TESTING = Both simichrome polish and rub and smell positive

*MEASUREMENTS: About 2" long x 1 1/8" wide x 1/4" thick (not including the clip back - just the bakelite body)

*MARKS: None that I could find

*WEIGHT: 10.5 grams on my scale

*CONDITION: Good vintage condition - no damage to mention at all. Clip hardware in good working and holding order. Clip back has some discoloration and one of the very tips near the bottom right looks to have been broken off - but it isn't. You can clearly see the carving marks right over it - it is just a manufacturing quirk due to the handmade/hand carved nature. See last pic

View & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina, and/or wear. Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged. I will do my best to note anything glaring or distracting.
