Rare Antique Chinese Oversized Spoon Fork Serving / Salad Set - Handmade with Bamboo Carved Jade Handles - Engraved Pewter Metal & Amethyst

Very special, rare antique Chinese utensil set:

~ Handmade matched large oversized fork and spoon pair ..... serving or salad set

~ Lively green apple colored jade or nephrite looking stone handles

~ Carved bamboo patterned tapered handles with perfect proportions

~ Pewter metal etched or engraved with symbolic floral and foliage designs

~ Beautiful custom bezel set natural amethyst oval shaped cabochons at the necks

~ I am guessing these to be from the Qing dynasty time period - possibly late 1800's to early 1900's in age.

MARKINGS = Each is stamped CHINA on the reverse side - opposite or directly below on the flip side of the gemstone on top

MEASUREMENTS = Spoon is 10 1/4" long x 2 5/8" wide at the bowl. Fork is 10 1/2" long x 1 1/2" wide at the tines. Amethyst oval cabs are aprox 1/2" x 3/4" on the spoon and 5/8" x 1/2" on the fork. Jade handles are each about 4 1/4" long x 5/8" wide at the ends

CONDITION = Good condition considering the age and rarity. The head of the fork has a bit of wobble or play to it where the pewter meets the jade on the handle. The jade at the very end of the fork looks to have a (most likely natural) crack like internal inclusion. It can be spotted when inspecting closely - but can't be felt from the outside surface. See last pic. No major dings or dents and all appears to be intact.

View & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina, and/or wear. Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged. I will do my best to note anything glaring or distracting.
